How We Work

Terms & Process

Why we do it this way. We've seen too many founders get burned by vague contracts and hourly billing that spirals out of control. So we keep things simple: one flat price, clear terms, and no surprises. Here's exactly what to expect when you work with us.

Who's Building Your App

Our development team is based in the Philippines — home to some of the strongest engineering talent in the world. That's a big part of why we can offer flat rates that don't come with a $40k agency price tag: we're not paying for bloated US-based overhead, we're paying for skill. We only hire the best, and our portfolio speaks for itself — real, live apps built by this same team, from faith apps to caregiving tools to fintech products.

Your Main Point of Contact: Tristyn

Tristyn, the founder, is who you'll talk to — on your planning call, in every meeting, and throughout your build. You won't get passed around to a rotating cast of account managers or sales reps. For the full MVP build, Tristyn is with you start to finish (barring a genuine personal emergency), so you always know exactly who to go to with questions or feedback.

Flat-Rate Pricing

Every project gets one fixed price, agreed on before any work starts. That price is confirmed on your free planning call, once we understand exactly what you're building. There's no hourly billing during the build, no change-order games, and no surprise invoices halfway through.

How Payment Works

You can pay the full amount up front, or spread it out weekly:

Late payments: if a weekly payment is more than 3 days late, we reserve the right to pause work on your project until the account is caught up. We'll always reach out before this happens — we're not trying to catch anyone off guard, just protecting the team's time.

What Happens During the Build

30 Days of Free Bug Fixes

Once your app is delivered and live, anything that's broken — meaning it doesn't work the way we built and agreed it should — gets fixed for free for 30 days. No charge, no questions asked.

Bug fix — free, within 30 days The feature doesn't work as originally built or agreed on.
New work — billed hourly Anything added beyond the original scope

New features, redesigns, structural changes, or things you decide you want after the fact.

After 30 Days, or for Anything Beyond Scope

Once your bug-fix window closes — or any time you want something built that wasn't part of the original project — it's simple hourly work at $35/hour — and as low as $29/hour if you commit to an ongoing 3–12 month contract. No retainer, no monthly minimum, no contract lock-in. You only pay for the hours actually worked.

Ownership — It's 100% Yours

When your app is created, everything is yours — no exceptions, no strings attached.

What is "IP"? IP stands for intellectual property — basically, the legal ownership of something that was created, like code, designs, or images. Whoever owns the IP has the legal right to use it, change it, sell it, or hand it to someone else. A lot of dev shops quietly keep partial ownership or licensing rights over what they build for you, which means you'd need their permission (or have to keep paying them) to use or change your own app down the line.

We don't do that. We don't hold any IP over your project and we never gate-keep it:

Going Big? Staff Your Own Team

For companies that outgrow project work and start building their own team, we can staff dedicated engineers, designers, and PMs that you bring onto your team and manage directly — if you so choose:

$3,500/mo*

Startup to Scale to Enterprise — If It's Technical, We've Got It

We aim to be there for every stage of your company. Websites, apps, web apps, AI models — anything technical you need built. What we don't do: marketing, SEO, Facebook ads, or business plans. We're not experts in those. We do tech, that's our specialty, and that's it.

What You're Responsible For

A few things fall outside our flat rate and are paid directly to the provider — typically $10–50/month for an early-stage MVP with a small user base. As your app grows and gains more users, these costs scale up with your usage (more users generally means more hosting/API costs) — this is normal and outside of our control:

We'll tell you exactly what to set up and walk you through it — no guesswork.
